Wisa to face MUSIGA disciplinary committee
The Musicians Union of Ghana (MUSIGA) has served a notice of an
intention to institute a disciplinary proceeding against musician, Wisa
for exposing his manhood during the 2015 Decemba2Rememba concert.
In a release signed by Edward Nana Poku Osei (Da Hammer), National Director of Hiplife and Hip Hop, the union expressed its utmost disappointment in the 'Ekiki Me' hitmaker describing his act as “terrible”.
The office, however, apologised to the public and organisers of the event for the unfortunate incident.
Below is an unedited statement:
From the office of The Director of Hiplife and Hip-hop at MUSIGA
This statement is being released to express the extreme disappointment in the artist Wisa, who disgraced this entire organization and the Ghanaian Music industry with his indecent exposure at the ‘December To Remember’ concert last night.
We would like to assure the general public in no uncertain terms that we clearly condemn the terrible actions of said artist, and will within a week institute disciplinary proceedings against him by the executive committee of MUSIGA.
We would also like to apologize on behalf of the entire organization for the oversight on our part.
Sincerely,
Da’ Hammer
But in what capacity is MUSIGA going to do this? Is Wisa a member of MUSIGA? Your guess is as good as mine…
