Reggie ‘N’ Bollie to release new single feat. Cheryl
he X Factor runners-up Reggie ‘n’ Bollie have told Entertainment Daily
that they are planning to release a single with Cheryl
Fernandez-Versisni after she promised to do all she can to help make the
Ghanaians chart stars.
As the excitement of the X Factor live shows calm down, Reggie ‘N’ Bollie have taken time to reflect on the rollercoaster ride that almost delivered them a stunning X Factor triumph. During an exclusive chat with Entertainment Daily, they praised the hands-on approach of their mentor Cheryl and that they hoped that their success would spur others on to try winning through on the show.
Reggie ‘N’ Bollie said: “The X Factor has helped us decide the direction we want to go in. We came to the auditions thinking we would continue with our reggae dancehall but the show has opened our eyes to new sounds.”
With this in mind, the boys revealed the influence that Cheryl had and how she will back them to be winners now that the show is over.
“Cheryl has told us that she will help in any way she can,” they revealed, “and she said that she will produce a song with us, which will be amazing.”
The pair hadn’t imagined where they would get to when they queued up for their first audition and they’re hoping they will inspire others to have a go.
“We really hope that our journey proves an inspiration to others to take a shot at the X Factor. Sometimes you just need to take that bold step and if it happens, it happens.
We never thought we would get to the live shows, let alone the final, but it proves that it can happen and we have loved every minute of it.”
There may be some time off over Christmas but it seems that 2016 could be the year that we are seduced by the charms of Reggie ‘N’ Bollie once again.
