Multi-Talented Ghanaian actress and movie producer Yvonne Nelson is
set to thrill fans with a new and exciting TV series slated to hit the
screens in a month’s time.Last Thursday,in an interview with graphic Showbiz ,the actress Yvonne excitedly said she is amazed about her new project and she can’t even wait to release it.
Ninety percent of the cast are all new people who do not have any acting experience according to Yvonne, “the only known faces in there are Regina Krave of GHOne and Live FM, Jason of GHOne, Pappy Kojo and myself, everyone else is totally new, “ she added.
Even though she would not disclose the title of the new upcoming tv series produced by Lieve for now, she stressed that it is centered around young people and it’s something that will appeal to the youth.
“When I was shooting If Tomorrow Never Comes, a young person of about 19 years approached me and suggested that my next project has to be around young people, I gave it a thought and here we are with this project”, Yvonne the Executive Producer of the TV series explained.
“The writer is Richie who gave the story a body but the concept is from
me, it is something that will appeal to the youth,” she said.
Talking about some of the challenges she faced while shooting the series, “It was very challenging for me. I always want to challenge myself and it involved a lot of money which I single-handedly had to fund.”Yvonne lamented.
In addition she said that it felt like she was shooting three movies at the same time but at the end of the day, it all turned out fine because everybody on set did well considering that most of them had not acted before.
Touching on what viewers should expect, Yvonne said, “it is going to be very exciting. People will be glued to their sets. It is also going to be on DStv so that people outside Ghana can also have the opportunity to watch it. The pictures are really good, Ghanaians should be patient and watch out for it.”
