Ghana Movie Awards is a big joke - Juliet Ibrahim

Juliet Ibrahim Gma JokeThe nominees list for this year’s edition of the annual Ghana Movie Awards was released recently and as characteristic of any other award scheme held in the country, Ghanaians are not happy with the list.

Not long ago EonlineGhana.Com reported of actor Eddie Nartey expressing his displeasure in the organizers for nominating award winning movie “Beasts Of No Nation” — citing that it was rather unfair to allow such a multi-million dollar budget movie to compete with movies made locally.

Know your value as a woman – Counsellor Lutterodt

Counsellor LuterodtRenowned pastor and marriage counsellor, Rev. Counsellor Cyril George has advised ladies to know their value in the society and fight for their rightful position especially when it comes to a relationship.

He gave this advise on December 18, 2015, at the 2015 Girl Talk Show at the national theatre headlined by the ‘Forgetting Me’ hitmaker Efya.

Speaking on the topic ‘The value of a woman’, the self-confessed sex therapist, and the convener of ‘Sexier Together’, a program for couples said women are made for a purpose hence they should discover the purpose in their life and fight to achieve it.

He further said, women must know the power of their value because the value of a woman can never be equated to the riches of a man.

The counsellor who calls himself the Emotional Fixer tasked ladies to make a review of their relationship and enquire, if after any break they will be proud of themselves or not.

“Will you walk out as a confident woman heartbroken or happy woman”, he questioned.

He went on to say that women must never compare themselves to a man's success but rather to that of her fellow woman thus he said will make a woman’s value stand.
