Bishop Bob Okala collapsed while performing at a programme at Jackson Park at Koforidua in the Eastern region on March 12, 2016, after which he was rushed to the Koforidua Government Hospital where he died.

Okala shot to prominence as a comedian in the late ’90s with the weekly Key Soap Concert Party show, often emerging on stage with a wall clock strapped to his left wrist.
Those who were present at the event were David Dontoh, Ebenezer Donkor (Katawere), Ice Kenkey, among other notable names on the local entertainment industry.
