King Ayisoba, others headline ‘Batakari Night’
After touring many European Festivals, King Ayisoba, the internationally
acclaimed "King of Kologo Music" brings the second edition of the
Batakari Night to Alliance Francaise.
The event is aimed at encouraging everyone to wear Batakari, one of the few wholly locally produced fabrics in use today.
Artists to thrill patrons on the night are, Wanlov the Kubolor, Kwaw Kese, Stevo Atambire, Yaa Pono and Zea from Holland whom King Ayisoba has worked extensively with.
Disclosing why fans should throng the event, King Ayisoba revealed to seancitygh.com that, the Batakari night is a night of fantastic music, performances and a market place for some of the finest batakaris ever made:
"My brother, people should just come and witness the most spectacular show for 2016.Am bringing Zea who happens to be one of the finest artists from Holland...the event is aimed at encouraging everyone to wear "Batakari".
This year's edition promises to be an exciting one and is on the 30th January,2016 at the Alliance Francaise in Accra.In fact it’s going to be kai kai kai!!!!". King Ayisoba told Seancitygh.com with much humor.
The event is powered by Makkum Records in collaboration with Pidgen Music.
