Anita Erskine tells her story(real life experience) as a broadcast journalist.

Ghana's queen of television and  radio personality, the BossLady Anita Erskine uncovers her real life experience aspiring to be who she is today. And still growing bigger and better, she shared that the higher she goes, the more stairs she has to claim.
The Starr 103.5FM entertainment talk show, Starr Drive  co-host over the years has demonstrated in-depth prowess and daring flair making her the most sought-after female presenter.
The radio cum TV personality with her 19years experiences started as Production Assistant (Internship) with Metro TV.

Anita posted on her facebook page advising young female presenters to soar higher with humility.
She wrote: “See this building? It’s called Pyramid House. Exactly 19 years ago today July 8 1997 I walked here from Airport Residential Area. I could have come here by car, but I left home to grab a taxi to Circle. As I left home, I was rehearsing what I would say in the interview. I had an internship interview as a production assistant at Metro TV. I was 17 years old. I ended up walking all the way because I was so caught up in my thoughts and rehearsing my lines. I remember what I was going to say. It was ‘Hello good afternoon. I’m Anita Erskine and I aspire to lead the Broadcasting Industry’. The person I met that day and indeed did deliver these lines to, chuckled a little bit. I never asked why. But I was given the Internship and that’s the only thing I needed. I had decided what I would do with it. That internship opened my eyes and ears and gave me opportunities in television. Today, Pyramid House is in plain sight from where I sit everyday when I’m on the Starr Drive on Starr FM. When I come in to the studio, the first thing I do is go to the window. This is where I pray. I ask God to help me to maintain my humility always and never fear to fight for what I believe in. I ask Him to give me just enough fire to keep my dreams burning in my heart! It’s gets tougher as I climb higher and dream bigger. Ironically, Pyramid House didn’t have an elevator so I had to walk up a flight of stairs everyday! Meridian House doesn’t have an elevator either! I have to climb up a flight of stairs here too! What does it mean? I’ve still got stairs and ladders to climb. The higher I go, the more stairs I have to climb. And that’s so ok! You have a Dream? Chase it. And when you feel you’re slipping because you’re tired, tell yourself to keep fighting. Why? Because the ?#?BossLady says so! Do you know how many people said both my face and at my back that I wouldn’t make it, or that I was done? And in all this God keeps bringing me more opportunities! ?#?ConfirmedGoingGlobal! Watch this space. Most importantly, ?#?Believe!”

M.anifest is nowhere near Sarkodie, his 'godMC' doesn't makes sense– Bulldog

In a recent interview on Happy FM's Showbiz Xtra Mr. Lawrence Nana Asiamah Hanson popularly known as Bulldog claimed M.anifest’s #godMC doesn’t make sense, making a statement on the latest rap beef between Best rapper Sarkodie and M.anfest.

The Creative Director of Bullhaus Entertainment in the interview on Happy FM told the host,Dr. Cann;
“You see talent; people get it wrong all the time. You can never measure talent. So commercially, M,anifest is nowhere near Sarkodie. That’s not even an argument. M.anifest is going to Geneva to play but it’s not his own show like people want to say. I don’t even know why M.anifest made the god MC for Sark because if you listen to Bossy he was big-ing him up. M,anifest just want hype from Sarkodie because Sark has more fans.
He added "Rap is now mathematics. Boys have to calculate before they rap. If M.anifest is not afraid, he should mention Sarkodie in his song and if Sarkodie is not afraid, he should mention M.anifest’s name. You see the Bossy song; it’s not even about M.anifest. But I don’t know why people want to make it about EL but assuming it is about him, where’s M.anifest in this. The last line was throwing respect to M.anifest saying; ‘Please can I borrow your dot to end this verse’. So why do you then come back at him. It doesn’t even make sense.”
Bullbog has disclosed his thoughts on the issue, and in my candid opinion I think he has a say in this because he is part of the music industry.

M.aniSark rap beef: John Dumelo choses Sarkodie over M.anfest, and says Sark is his favourite.

Following the recent beef (rap diss) between best rapper Sarkodie and M.anifest, popular actor John Dumelo has tipped the BET award-winning rapper Sarkodie as the best in Ghana.
The entrepreneur's take is that, Sarkodie’s style easily courts international interest although most of his songs are in the local language.
Currently there is a ranging beef between the hiphop act and fellow musician M.anifest over who is the better after the duo engaged in war of words over song composition, which went viral on social and mainstream media a few days ago.
Jonh Dumelo touching on the controversial issue, said he is enjoying the beef, and thinks it is good for the Ghanaian music industry.
He said “It’s rare to find someone [Sarkodie] rapping in the local language and going international,” to Bola Ray on Starr Chat. However, he added: “It will be hard to take sides. Beef is needed.”
BIO.
Dumelo is the first Ghanaian citizen to hit one million likes on Facebook. He is a famous actor and entrepreneur.
He had his secondary education at Achimota School and further studied at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, where he studied Civil Engineering.
He was nominated for categories Most Promising Actor and Best Actor in a Supporting Role at the 6th and 7th Africa Movie Academy Awards respectively.

Sarkodie and M.anifest bromance (rap beef): Real or publicity stunt?

It is no secret to the people in the Ghanaian music industry, that the bond between Sarkodie, Manifest and Jay So is very undeniable.
The top listed three have found themselves together in studios on countless occasions therefore it comes as a surprise with the sudden beef between them.
My information sources have confirmed that it all started at the 2016 VGMA after Sarkodie won Best Rapper and EL the artiste of the year didn't think Sark deserved to win, El said this in a radio interview with Bola Ray.
Therefore, allegedly Sarkodie released ‘Bossy’ song and it was directed at El.
But Jay So who was featured in the track confirmed that ‘Bossy’ was produced in April whiles VGMA happened in May, so we are yet to relate the possibility of Bossy being a ‘diss’ song to EL.
Quite recently Manifest released ‘god MC’ which immediately received much attention as most perceived it was directed at Sarkodie for calling himself a King in Ghanaian rap.
Sarkodie's fans sparked up as a result and took to social media to support their king who also replied with ground breaking ‘Kanta’ track which was obviously directed at Manifest and mocking him for wearing weird style of local GTP.
Then, social Media once more took to judge both tracks with lots of mockery on the use of ‘Pro bono’ wrongly by Sarkodie and criticizing him mocking local fabrics brand GTP.
However, Sarkodie’s lawyer have apologised on his behalf for mentioning the brand GTP.
Meanwhile, Gemini and Jayso who produced ‘Bossy’ have also released new songs addressing the ongoing ‘beef’ between Manifest and Sarkodie.
As Gemini called for a cease-fire, Jay So on the other hand added more salt to the injury by taking Sarkodie’s side and calling Manifest jealous of Sarkodie and using him to trend on social media.
Jay So stated in the song:
“I played ‘Bossy’ for your man way back in April
You told me it was hot way back in April
So why the diss track? I can say that you’re hateful
You took shot to that track that had me and him
And you supposed to be a friend
I mean it’s just rap but it’s bogus of you to pretend
I feel like you betrayed our friendship so you could trend
I hope you know how this will end?”
The track left many confused about the real intention behind the beef as the three are quiet close and it doesn’t make sense that Manifest will release ‘godMC’ for Sarkodie if ‘Bossy track’ wasn’t even directed at him.
I think the two answers to these doubts are, its either a planned publicity for all three artistes or an actual beef based on Manifest betrayal to their friendship.
Also maybe M.anifest did it in other to promote his up coming album and tours, because Sarkodie has the largest fan base in Ghana.
